Currently, JEV is only allowed to ship to the following states without the required shipping permit: Alaska, Iowa, Florida, Minnesota, New Mexico and Washington D.C.
If you'd like to ship wine within the state of Iowa....HOORAY! We can do that for you. All you need to do is call with how many bottles you'd like shipped, which varieties of wine, the receiver's name and address and your credit card number. It usually takes 2-3 business days to receive our wine shipment in Iowa. We can ship in increments of 2 bottles, 4 bottles, 6 bottles and 12 bottles. The fee is very reasonable to do so also.
If you're wanting to ship wine to any other state than listed above....please contact your legislator and inform them they need to do more to legalize the shipment of wine commercially without the wineries having to pay a large shipping permit yearly. These shipping regulations have become more enforced within the last year and make it almost impossible to ship wines to our customers who visit our winery while traveling.
And don't forget, if you're traveling and you find a wine you absolutely love, the only way to get it back home if you're flying is to wrap it up in some clothes and check your luggage. The Transportation Security Administration only allows 3.4 ounces or smaller of liquid containers for your carry on.
