We have a new policy in place for reservation of the gazebo and the pavillion on the hill...$25 for the gazebo and $40 to reserve the pavillion on the hill. This is only in reservation for special occassions, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, etc. JEV will accept at their discretion. Reservation is confirmed when payment is received. NO-YOU CAN'T RESERVE EITHER (the pavillion or the gazebo) FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON! All other tents must be claimed the day of the music.  Just bring you and your friends, a picnic basket, lawn chairs, buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the music.  Please CALL us at (866) 533-4544 or 641-484-8048 or email us at JohnErnestVineyard@yahoo.com for more information.  Rain or shine the music will play.  No dogs allowed on premise.

Mardi Gras & Native Wine Release Party

6-10 p.m.

Come in your masks and beads, purples and greens to sample our releases for the year.  Enjoy pastalaya for $6/person and stay for music with Nick Stika from Dogs on Skis.  Already eaten?  No problem.  Come for the wine and free live music.

Italian Wine & Dine Dinner

6:30-10 p.m.

Another opportunity to enjoy a 4 course Italian meal all paired with JEV wines.  Live music with Mick Staebell. $45/person or buy a table of 8 and save $10.  RSVPs mandatory.  Your reservation is confirmed once payment is received.

2012 OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE now available below!!!

For those that have never attended our entertainment days, here's a step-by-step guide:

1) Set up your lawn chairs and picnic basket somewhere outside.
2) Come in to the tasting room and sample some of our delicious wines until you find the "right" one for the day.
3) Grab your wine from the wine rack or the cooler and pay for it inside at the cash register.  They'll remove the foil for you.
4) Take your unopened wine outside to the bar where they will remove the cork, give you a bucket with some ice and some glasses.
5) Wine-a-Ritas are available to purchase outside for $5 (cash only).
Currently, we have insulated purple JEV cups with lids and straws for $8 (includes a full cup of wine-a-rita).
6) Enjoy the rest of the music!
After the entertainment is over for the day, please return the empty wine buckets and bottles to the outside tasting bar , throw away your trash and leave your area just as you found it upon your arrival. 
Help keep our vineyard looking beautiful please!

*Remember, the bands will play outdoors.  So, come to JEV for a great time regardless of the weather!

There is no charge to attend the live music, however the bands are paid for by the sales of John Ernest Vineyard wine.

We encourage you to bring picnic baskets filled with food, pop, water, etc. to enjoy during the entertainment.  However, no other alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises.  Individuals that do not respect this rule will be asked to leave.  Try John Ernest Vineyard wine, you'll like it!

In addition to our wine, patrons may also purchase our River Bottom Red truffles, pop, water, cheese, crackers, and a variety of meats to enjoy during the entertainment or to take home.
