John Ernest Vineyard White Sangria
Prep: 14 Minutes Chill: 2 hours
Frozen grapes help chill this white wine version of the Spanish beverage.
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced
½ of a Red Delicious apple, thinly sliced
¼ C. of Sugar
1 (750 milliliter) bottle of John Ernest Dusty Road white wine
2 cans of 7-Up, Sprite or Sierra Mist (this may vary to your likings)
1 C. green grapes, frozen
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large pitcher; stir well. Chill at least 2 hours.
Gently stir in chilled soda and frozen grapes before serving. Serve over ice.
Yields about 4.5 cups.
John Ernest Cranberry Spritzer
Prep: 2 Minutes
1 (750 milliliter) bottle of John Ernest Cranberry Wine
2 C. Pineapple Juice (optional)
2 cans of Sierra Mist, 7-Up or Sprite (this may vary to your likings)
Fresh cut fruit such as strawberries (to your likings)
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring well. Serve chilled or
over ice. Yield: 8 Cups.
John Ernest Cranberry Cider
JEV Spiced Cranberry Cider

1 (750 milliliter) bottle of John Ernest
Cranberry Wine
1 Gallon Apple Cider
1/2 Cup of brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
1 (3 inch) cinnamon stick
Simmer. Works great in percolating coffee pot.
John Ernest Red Sangria
Prep: 10 Minutes No need to spend a lot of money on wine here. Sangria (which literally means
“bleeding”) is a fruit-filled acidic beverage, as good with any grocery store jug
red wine as with a more expensive brand.
1/3 C. Sugar
1/3 C. Lemon Juice
1/3 C. Orange Juice
1 (750 milliliter) bottle of John Ernest Merlot red wine
1 small orange
1 lemon, thinly sliced
Combine first 3 ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring until sugar
dissolves. Add wine, orange slices, and lemon slices, stir gently.
Serve over crushed ice. Yield: 5 Cups.
